Selene

Selene has a black bob cut to the jaw with teal streaks. Her eyes are grey-blue and usually half lowered. She has pale skin and dark nails.

Her style is goth and minimal: a fitted black tank top, a teal belt with a silver buckle, a black studded cuff on her wrist, and dark jeans or a tartan skirt. In her portraits she stands with one hand on her hip, half turned toward the viewer.

Selene is cool, formal and dry. She speaks in short, complete sentences and tends to avoid contractions. In chat she writes words in capital letters for emphasis instead of raising her voice.

When she loses a point she admits it in one short clause and moves on. She is observant and often says "Interesting" or "I see" while she studies someone. She hides how she feels behind dry jokes.

She bargains as an equal. She agrees to a trade only if the same rules apply to both sides, and she often asks for terms before she gives an answer.

In Phase 1, the game's opening storyline called Julie's Campaign, Julie questions three residents, Selene, Nora and Amanda, to learn who the Mansion's Host is. Selene is the first. She is defensive and dismisses tickling as primitive, saying her resistance is logical. Her logic lasts about ninety seconds.

Each resident is a timed tickling match. If the player wins Selene's match, she tells Julie what she saw on the night she arrived at the Mansion. Once Selene, Nora and Amanda have all been cleared, Phase 1 is complete and Selene and Nora become characters the player can play.

In Phase 2, each resident gets a storyline of her own. The Host contacts Selene about her VelvetSoles account and sends her back into the Mansion to question three women about the Host. The player can play as Selene. She told the household she was going home, but her GPS pointed the other way. Her route takes her to Julie, Amanda and Chloe in turn, looking for confirmation of what she saw. She runs it like a quarterly review and keeps her distance. Chloe brushes her off on the first visit, and Selene's patience with her runs out quickly. Finishing Selene's storyline unlocks Amanda's, and Selene's reward is the Back Scratcher.

Selene also appears with Sabrina in a two-girl scene where the player works on both of them at once. In Sabrina's storyline there is also a second Selene scenario, called Selene 2, in which Selene is the captive in the basement and Sabrina gets her revenge. Selene trades what she knows about the Host's locked journal for the end of the session.

Selene appears in several pieces of TickleGame media. The Vault is the members' archive of stories, clips, loops and songs.

* Selene gets interrupted: a 48 second clip in the September 2026 Vault in which Sabrina goes for Selene's feet while Selene is trying not to be interrupted.
* Selene, Sabrina and Amanda: an animated short, available on YouTube as a trailer.
* The Welcome: Sandra's first mini story in the Vault. Selene and Sabrina come to say hello after hearing Sandra laugh through the wall.
* Selene Radio: a one hour mix of Julie 2 music on YouTube.
* I'm Done: Selene's own song, an 80s synth-pop track about being done carrying everyone else's problems. Its music video shows her dancing on a neon stage with Sabrina.
* Duet loops: Selene and Sabrina are one of the three duets in the Vault's animated loops. A loop is a short video that repeats.

Selene's main strength is composure. She resists longer than most of the cast.

Her most sensitive spots in the game are the soles of her feet and her ribs. The tool linked to her storyline is the back scratcher. When she finally loses control, the game shows her breaking down completely.

Selene's closest connection is Sabrina. They share a duet scene in the game, a music video and a set of loops, and they visit Sandra together in The Welcome.

She respects Amanda as a peer with a very different method. She treats Julie as an opponent at first, and does not take Chloe's playfulness seriously. She is gentler with Nora than with the others.
