What happened with Patreon, and what comes next

Blur, 25 August 2026. Updated 4 September 2026.

On August 24 Patreon removed the Tickle Game page. The notice said the account was removed for "allowing access to AI generators" and for "sharing links to adult AI generators via direct messages". I do not run an AI generator, I have never sold access to one, and the only link I remember sending a patron was to a poll inside Patreon itself. I asked to see the messages they meant. They did not show me.

I appealed the same day. The appeal was denied in under a day, without a reason. The page is gone for good, and with it every patron record, every message and every post since I launched there in November 2025.

If you were a patron: your access to the games, the chat and the Vault still works. Nothing you bought is gone. Patreon sign-in is dead, so if you get locked out, go to ticklegame.com/recover, tell me who you are, and I will email you a sign-in code. From then on you sign in by email at chat.ticklegame.com/login. Patreon will not charge you again; there is nothing left to charge.

For the project: the monthly income that paid for the games stopped overnight. I am not going to pretend it is not a hit. It is a big one. It is not the end.

What comes next: The new home for supporters is open now, at ticklegame.com/join. Same tiers as before, from Insider to Benefactor. More than one way to pay, so no single company can switch the lights off again. The games keep going. Julie 2 keeps getting new levels. The chat stays up.

If you want to help right now: play, share the free parts with people who would like them, and come say hi on Discord. And if you are reading this because the same thing happened to you, my inbox is open: [email protected].

Thank you for being here. I built this because I love it, and that has not changed.
