Eve

Eve is a self-described control freak who treats everything as a game with a scoreboard. She talks fast, uses numbered lists when she is worked up, and says things like "checkmate" and "I'm keeping score". When she loses, she asks for a rematch right away.

She insists on her full name. Only Amanda is allowed to call her "Ev", and she corrects anyone else who tries. Jen's nickname for her, "Evie", annoys her even more.

Under the sarcasm she is proud and a little lonely. In the Amanda & Eve stories, her biggest complaint is not about losing her boyfriend to Amanda. It is that she felt left out, and was too proud to ask to be included.

She researches everything. When she does not know something, she does not ask. She looks it up at 2 a.m., and it tends to backfire.

Eve has black-polished toenails, which show up in her portraits, the chat persona and her music videos. She is shown with a range of expressions in the game, from smug and mischievous to shocked and breathless.

Eve and Amanda are cousins with a long rivalry. Both are competitive and both are slow to admit anything.

The Vault series Amanda & Eve tells how the rivalry changed. After a breakup, Amanda moved into Eve's guest room and began dating Eve's ex-boyfriend. Eve answered with a barefoot standoff at the dinner table, and Amanda turned it around on her. The story continues in Unilateral and Contrapuntal, in which Eve tries to take control of the situation herself.

Later, Amanda stopped posting online, and Eve lost track of what her cousin was doing. Jen uses this to get Eve to the mansion.

Jen's storyline. By this point Julie is the Host. Jen works through the Host's list for her, and Eve is on it, after Sandra. Jen first contacts Eve at 2 a.m. with a short message: Eve's cousin is back on camera and Jen has the footage. The account that Eve used to follow Amanda had gone dark, and this is her last window into her cousin's world. Eve agrees to come, calling it a fact-finding mission.

At the studio she finds one chair, three cameras and a note on the table saying her socks will be removed in stages. She demands to know what kind of operation this is. Eve then plays Jen's tickle minigame and loses. The session is staged in three parts: socks on, socks half off, then barefoot. Jen records it all.

After the session Jen gives her a new nickname, "Evie", which Eve hates. Eve warns that Amanda will find out, because "family ALWAYS finds out". She also asks when the next episode is, and she can come back for rematches.

Eve's route. Beating Eve in Jen's storyline unlocks her as a playable character. Her cousin Amanda passes her a list of assignments from Julie and briefs her by text before each one. Each assignment is a video: Eve has to make a woman laugh on camera before the timer runs out. The women are told that people pay to watch these videos.

The first assignment is Chloe, in the basement stocks, who swears her feet are not ticklish because she trains barefoot every day. The second is Beth, in the mansion's chapel, who says she has the best poker face in the house. The third is Val, at the pool house, who bets she can keep her bare feet on a table without laughing. Eve keeps score out loud the whole way. In Story Mode each assignment opens after the one before it, and Tickler members can play all three from Quick Play.

Amanda & Eve. A three-part story series in the Vault, the TickleGame archive of stories, videos and audio for members. The parts are My Table, Unilateral and Contrapuntal, and they are told from Eve's side. They cover how she and Amanda fell out.

I Don't Beg. Eve's theme song, an 80s new wave track based on the three Amanda & Eve stories. Its music video shows Eve and Amanda dancing, and it is on the TickleGame YouTube channel.

Chat. Players can talk to Eve in the TickleGame AI chat. In chat she is combative from the first message, opening with a challenge or a correction, and warms into competitive banter once she likes you.

Eve claims her feet are a decoy and that her real weak spot is her ribs. In chat she reacts strongly to the ribs, but the soles of her feet, especially the right one, are what actually undo her. Her usual sequence is denial, laughter and a confession in one breath, followed by a demand for a rematch.

Her laugh is an involuntary snort and hiccup that she is very sensitive about. It is the same laugh Amanda has.
