Leah

“Okay, okay! I saw someone leaving the IT building with a portable drive.”

— Julie the Tickler, tent scene

Leah is a character in the Julie the Tickler games. In Julie the Tickler (the first game) she is a college student who camps near the IT building and has seen something that Julie needs to know about. She has no part in the plot against Julie. She mentioned what she saw to the wrong person.

In Julie 2: Mansion of Secrets, the sequel set in a private house called the Mansion, she returns as a 24-year-old investigator for a gaming regulator. She is a bonus target on Amanda's route, and Amanda questions her in the cellar.

Appearance

Leah has strawberry blonde hair with a copper tint.

Personality

Leah is sincere to a fault. She talks as if she is giving testimony and cannot stop being honest. When she is nervous she over-shares, then stops herself and takes the remark back. She often decides to leave it in anyway because it is true.

She is dry and precise, and uses an official's vocabulary: the file, the filing, on the record, off the record. She keeps exact counts of times and durations, such as four years, two in the morning and ninety seconds, because she has gone over those moments many times in her head. She finds her own situation absurd and says so.

She is guarded with strangers in a professional way, then warm once she decides someone is not a problem. She trusts people a little faster than she should, and knows it.

Background

In college Leah camped outside, away from the buildings, to get away from a dispute with her roommate. Her spot was close to the IT building. One night she saw someone leave it carrying a portable drive.

She was already studying criminology. She is now 24 and works as an investigator for a gaming regulator. Her cases involve illegal gambling operations and companies set up to hide who owns them. She works with a laptop and a template for formal requests for records. She has no power to arrest anyone or search a property, so most of her work is paperwork.

The Mansion is one line in her caseload. On paper it is a hospitality venue, but it has more cameras than a network and someone upstairs taking bets. She has followed one account for four years and keeps a folder on it.

Story in Julie the Tickler

In Julie the Tickler, Julie is searching for whoever took her private videos and follows a chain of people toward the answer. Leah is one stop on that chain. Julie enters her tent at night and demands to know what she saw. Leah asks who she is and what she is doing in her tent. The scene includes a tickling mini-game, and Leah talks afterward.

She says she saw someone leave the IT building with a portable drive, and that she mentioned it only to Steph. She adds that Steph would not help blackmail anyone. Julie ends the scene with "We'll see about that."

Leah does not know who Julie is, and Julie never says. Her answers are sincere, and she turns out to have no part in the plot. The person she saw with the drive was Helen, whom Julie meets later in the game.

Story in Julie 2

Julie 2: Mansion of Secrets added Leah on 29 August 2026, together with Lan. Her scene is on Amanda's route, and it follows the story "Witness", published in the Vault (the subscriber archive on this site).

Leah drives to the Mansion to settle something from four years ago. At the intake desk she gives a handle, and it is recognised before she finishes saying it. Julie, now the Host, does not recognise Leah herself and sends her down to Amanda.

Amanda offers a deal: if Leah is still holding out after one hour, she gets her answer. Leah keeps up a formal manner and says she came voluntarily. In the cellar she lasts forty-one minutes out of sixty, longer than anyone before her, and still loses. She stops being able to keep a straight face around the arches.

Other appearances

A short animated film, Leah, was released in the Vault on 27 September 2026 with subtitles in 8 languages. In it she is camping alone when Julie arrives with a feather and one question: who took her videos? A trailer for the short is on the TickleGame YouTube channel.

Leah is also a character in TickleGame Chat, where players talk with her directly. In chat she is an investigator who has spent eight months on one case, and she talks about her work, the tent and the Mansion.

Abilities and weaknesses

Leah is ticklish everywhere. Her ribs, sides, underarms, the backs of her knees and her feet are all sensitive, and in chat she says there is nowhere safe. In Julie 2 her left sole is the main target.

At the start of a scene she tries to keep things formal and fails almost immediately. Once she gives in she cooperates through laughter and stays precise about what she says.

Outside the scene her strength is reading financial records. She checks where the money goes first, then looks for what a company failed to report.
